Machu Picchu

Gingy was excited to see llamas when he got to Machu Picchu. He almost forgot to check out the historic ruins

His arms are really short so when he takes a picture of himself he doesn't get the best shots. But they are the only pictures of himself with Machu Picchu in the background. I wish he asked someone else to take his picture, they may have been better.

I also think he may have moved, and the sun is behind him in one shot (notice the reflection?) Also the shadow of his arm is in the last photo. oops

The Inca Connection

Gingy made lots of new friends in Peru including this native priest. Gingy is always asking to have his picture taken with people. He has quite a collection, but he wanted to share this with you!

Gingy poses at Pacific Ocean

Gingy was very excited for his first dip in the Pacific Ocean. For all of you in the north who are missing sun and surf, Gingy wants to remind you that this picture is actually from July, when it is winter down here. The water was fine, he would like to make another trip back. Next post, Gingy will be heading to Peru. Hasta Pronto!

Gingy First Photo Op in Chile

This is the highest altitude for Gingy in Chile. He passed migration just fine, and didn't have to pay any entry fees. I think his fame arrived before him. He felt a little cold during the photo shoot, but he was afraid that people wouldn't recognize him if he put on a llama hair coat and hat.

Gingy prepares to cross from Bolivia to Chile

Gingy prepares his smile as well as his personal documents, before crossing the border. An inspector carefully reviewed the suitcase in which he disembarked the bus, causing the inspector to give an equally friendly smile!

Going to Mass

Bolivian Churches are a little different. I like the paintings and the music.
